Alternative image to flash in HTML

When I place flash into an html web page, in dreamweaver there is an option field where you can specify an alternative image. I guess this is if they don't have flash installed on their machine. Problem is this this field is not available at all to me.

Does anyone here know when you can and can't display an alternative image?

Is this browser dependent?

What code do I place in my html to be able to do this?

select the movie and in the properties window click on embed so it is unchecked.....enjoy
