Hi,

Could anyone help me find actionscript for this effect? Basically, as your mouse approaches a word (or I suppose any symbol) it changes from dim to bright.

create a movie clip: inside put the dim to bright tween thingy. put a stop in frame 1 and at the end
put a copy of this mc on stage.
create a layer above with an invisible button (the size you want) give an instance name to the mc.
now select button once and in action script window select
on mouse event (roll over)
tell target (instance name)
go to frame 2 and play

et voila
