Allow Send As With Microsoft Exchange Server 2000

I have been asked by one of the managers to allow certain users to send emails on behalf of other people. I've had a look a round and cant seem to find anything in any of the user profiles that allows you to mearly select 'Allow Send As'.

The one thing I have found was an article that stated you needed to create a group within AD and allow the send as in the security of that group... problem is I can not see where that is.

I am really starting to pull my hair out about this and to be honest the only way I can see of allowing someone to send on behalf of someone is to have them as a Domain Admin, and there is no way I'll be doing that!

If someone could point me in the right direction please?

In the ADUC for the person who you want someone else to send on the behalf of, go to Exchange General, Delivery Options.

I'm Certifiable, not certified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

thanks for your quick response.

What I actually need is for it to look like someone other than the sender has sent it.

Sender A sends an email to sender C, but when Sender C recieves it it looks like it has actually been sent from Sender B.

The bosses dont want to see the "sent on behalf of"
