Hello there readers,

I would like some sort of script, that only allows one application open of the same at once.

My company runs a MSDOS program and users keep opening more that one program of the same program, I would like to disable this some how?

Please help!!

Thanks..

The only thing I can figure out is that the user has to start the program with a script/batch. The script checks if the program is already started and if yes doesn't start it again.

Yes that idea would be nice, but what I am struggling with is the batch file itself!

Its a DOS program that the users are running, but they seem to like opening more than one program at once which causes further problems.

If I can get hold of a batch / script that checks to see if there is already a program / process running that would solve my problem.

The question is where can I find such batch / script file?

Regards

Leigh
