Help. I converted an Access 2.0 database to Access 2003. Sometime after that, when I made new queries (I'm writing update queries to pull the most recent information in the old version - 2.0 - into the new version - 2003 using linked tables), the new queries return the following error:

'any query name I tried' is not a valid name. Make sure that it does not include invalid characters or punctuation and that it is not too long.

The first four or five of my update queries worked just fine without producing the invalid name error, and now all of the new queries produce this error. I tried "compact and repair" in all the databases except for the 2.0 version.
