hi guys,

I guess many people has this problem everyday. Making two paragraph finishing at the same line without looking strange.

Is there any way to align nicely the X line with the Y line when having a line space difference? I mean i could use the baseline grid forced option but on the other hand that would change the distance from the Title Paragraph to body text (the Z-Z line) and i need to keep that distance the same.

Which do you think will be the best option? Changing the space among lines is not too noticeable in small amounts but could be very distracting when putting too much.

Any idea?

Thanks for any help and best,
Sebastian

If you increase the space before 1.4 Problemas....

So that it lines up with the text on the left. So you're moving down 1.4 so it lines up with the text that ends "de ortos"

That means the second Z line "Creemos..." push down too. Then your lines will match up.

I wouldn't be inclined to mess around with the spacing in the paragraph or inbetween the paragraphs.

If you can you should adjust the tracking/kerning between spaces and letters to try make more lines for the paragraphs first.

Thanks for the good tip Eugene! I will try now and see how it fits.

Cheers,
S

...without baseline grids it is definitely a careful balance between various settings to get "perfect"...

...the other area that can have a dramatic effect is hyphenation controls, you could also experiment with that, along with forced line breaks to increase the number of text lines if required...

...you have quite a few hyphens it appears, so limiting that amount in previous paragraphs may help out too...

forced line breaks sound good...i did not thought of that.

Thanks for the tip Andrew!
