Alias for webpage URL

I have a Tomcat 5.0 server on which Crystal Rerpots Enterprise is Installed and the URL to access the webpage is too lengthy

"

http://servername:8080/businessobjects/enterprise11/adminlaunch/launchpad.html"

Can I define an Short Alias to this big URL.. something like "

http://servername/launchpad.html"

If so How to achieve this?

What I mean to request is, Is it possible to create a short ALIAS which can be used instead of typing the entire URL "
