Hi all
I have a customer hospital with S8720 (CM3.1), would like to have one button click to intiate a call to x numbers of doctors on mobile.
Please help...

Add their mobile/cells to EC500, then put them in a coverage-answer group (there is a limit of (8)), then add a speed dial on the phones.

The end user presses the speed-dial (autodial or abrv-dial) button, and it rings all the mobiles at once.

Keep in mind, it also ties up your Trunking. So (8) is probably a good number to start with.

Thanks,

EC500 to cell phone, it can work without One-X mobile licenses?

Yup. But you do need EC500 Licenses...

Maximum Off-PBX Telephones - EC500: 5000

Otherwise you may to build 'Coverage-Remote' in unique coverage paths for each person. Not sure exactly if it would work like the EC500 option, but worth a try.

Hi 98Converter
Thx for ur answer.
1- About EC500, it cant work without One-X mobile (I think that)... knowing that we have 5 EC500 licenses as default with CM3.1
I tried:
8191 EC500 90531925940 1 / 4 both all

Noting that 4 is the number of trunk (CO)

2- About coverage remote...it succeed with one extension...but when I put two extensions (with coverage remote feature to mobiles) in one coverage answer group..it not :(
It seems restricted....

Any Idea?

EC500 doesn't need One-X Mobile, never did. You could be confused with XMOBILE stations... However the other requirement is an ISDN PRI to route out over.

I wasn't sure if the coverage remote would work. It was more of an idea... sorry.

What type of voicemail system do you have? With Modular Messaging you may be able to set up a Find-Me Call-Me notification rule.

Thanks,

About coverage remote: thx to give me idea about this feature ;)

EC500: ur right about my confuse, I mean xmobile stations..
please find my licenses:
XMOBILE Stations: 0 0 0
EC500: 0
DECT: 0
PHS: 0

Off-PBX Telephone - EC500: 0 5 5
Off-PBX Telephone - OPS: 0 0 0
Off-PBX Telephone - SCCAN: 0 0 0

Also: we have DIOD trunks to rout outside calls
About the voice system: Intuity Audix LX :(

Maybe these requirements not support your idea???

Please help:
What are the requirements to setup EC500 in my mobile phone?

If your DIOD trunk isn't configured as ISDN, then its not going to work...

This is what you need for a trunk group setting in order for EC500 to work.

Page 1 of your trunk group:
Group Type: isdn

Thx
Our trunk is DID and DIOD, so it will not support...We should enable the R2-MFC signaling
