Alert messages to win98 clients

Is there a way of sending alert messages from an NT4 box to win 98 clients. I'm thinking about UPS warnings. The server is on battery power and about to shutdown, i'd like the server to send an automated message out to all the win 98 client machines telling users to save their work and get off. many thanks
