We are running Windows XP at work and I was wondering if it were possible to adjust the color of the alert "button" that shows as the minimized application in the task bar. Like when someone sends you a message in a messenger application and you are active in another application that is maximized... task bar button will GLOW or FLASH BRIGHT ORANGE and if you don't want to acknowledge right then it's very distracting. Was wondering if you could turn that flashing off comepletely or at least change it away from that bright orange.

Any help????

It's blue for me - I gotta think it's a part of the color scheme in the advanced appearances area under the display properties, maybe "selected items".

There is no registry entry for color, so it has to be in the GUI.
