Have customer with 2 PRI T-1s and yesterday they started getting alarm 63 0205. Checked alarm code and it states: Ther are no more DTMF recivers that can be allocated. Is this a Telco Problem or is it somthing in the system>
S/W 6.1 XC. Thanks!

With two PRI's it is suggested that you have a card that will give you extra DTMF receivers. you probably have a 6 port combo cartridge already and adding a services cartridge should give you more receivers.

what do you alaready have on your MICS? combo or service cartridge?

If voting could really change things, it would be illegal.

Service Cart. and this has been up for about 4 Months with no alarms (63) working great till yesterday. When she called she had 1 alarm then after I left site she called again and said that it was happening over and over even on Phones that were not being used ie conferance room phone when nobody was even in the room.

I would suggest to install a 6 port combo card..This will fix your problem. I ran into this problem before with a service cartridge and replaced it with a combo card..

Actually I have a 6 port combo cart. and a 6 port expansion Cart. in the system now are you saying I need 2 combo carts.

unfortunately I think that is your option to get a second set of dtmf receivers on line.

DTone,

That is what is suggested with 2 PRI's, I'll bet if you check the alarm code and the time that it occurred you'll find that is was at a time of high call volume. At least that is what I have experienced in the past.
