AIX 5.1 & Quantum Super DLT's

Does 5.1 include drivers for Quantum SDLT's?
Does anyone have experience with this combination?

Yes It should work fine for you!! I have used Quantum SDLT's on both 4.3.3 and 5.1 and 5.2 all on the base installation...


Any problems let me know..

Did this work out for you?

I'm trying to get a Bull DLT-7000 to work on an IBM AIX 5.1 box, and it doesn't want to work.

Assuming you didn't buy the Super DLT from IBM, what did you have to do to set it up to run correctly?
