AIX 4.3.3 to AIX 5.2 Upgrade

I am planning to upgrade to AIX 5.2 from 4.3.3

I have a storage-tek library, running TSM ofcourse. Are there any gotchas I should look for? My game plan is:

1) Make a mksysb
2) Reboot with CDrom, and perform a "Preserve Install"
3) Reboot to 5.2, and start up adsm

Would I need to note down any other info, before this major upgrade?

Not sure what version of TSM that you are using.
Verify that the TSM version does support AIX 5.2.

Worse case if the TSM Server is not supported on AIX 5.2.

1. Migrate all the data off the diskpool to the tape pool.
2. Backup the database.
3. Backup volhist.
4. Backup devconfig
5. Under usr/tivoli/tsm/server/bin copy the dsmserv.opt file.

Now we have a current backup of the database.

If we have to upgrade the TSM Server to 5.2.X
Restore the database and before starting the TSM Server, need to run dsmserv upgradedb. This will upgrade the database table to the new TSM 5.2 format.

I am not upgrading the TSM server. The TSM server will stay at 5.1 Level 6.11. I am just updating the OS to AIX 5.2

Any advice?
