Agent logged in accidentally as system agent

We have an agent that logged in using a audix system login and when this happened before, I had to do a reset on the pbx as trying to remove the station / busy & release / remove agent login, etc. had no affect.

Since this is at the beginning of the work day, I can't do the reset obviously and I'm wondering if you know a way to get this system agent id logged off the phone.

thanks

Example of the system agent ID that was used:

If your station has console permissions, you can try the FAC for "Remote Logout of Agent", followed by the Audix Agent ID.

No dice, I tried this in the past and should have listed it. Thanks though

When you've tried the busy/release, are you working with the Audix port, or the station that the agent is on?

Or - can you change the port on the station field to the station that the agent is at, and then try a remote logout?

How the heck did the agent manage to sign into the system with an Audix login, anyway? Wasn't the Audix agent already active?

The port for the audix agent ID is 4132. I x ported that and tried changing the station to 4132's port but I get a "object type and port type incorrect message in ASA"'

Good question! This has happened twice before albeit a while back.

Can you log the agent out if you change "AUDIX" to No?

Whats more, I can't change the agent ID back to how it was. When I change it back to Audix? Y , I can't put the skill 50 back. Tells me "hunt group is not skilled" Thats right, its qsig but the other ports are all set up this way. I think I'll deal with this one after the previous issue :)

Wow - the only thing else I can think of is to reboot the Audix (not the PBX).

Susan, thanks for the help and effort. I'll bounce the modular messaging server(s) at lunch and see if that keeps me from having to reboot the pbx tonight.
