After Dial terminal troubleshooting

If you ever had trouble with a dialup connection when trying to use an after dial terminal so as to login to a system and could not type anything, then use this :
If you have Win XP OS then try to uninstall the (KB911280) windows update file from the control panel.
This will fix your typing problem.
