My company has recently acquired 9 Fujitsu pen tablets with docking stations. When an access 2000 database (runtime) is opened on any of them it functions normally until closed. If the user then tries to reopen the same database, or another database a .ldb file appears but the database doesen't open. A reboot clears the ldb file. An internet search led me to believe that Office SR3 would fix this problem but it didn't.
All of these machines originally had Microsoft Onenote or Office XP or both on them, which I removed and installed Office 2000 small business edition disks 1 and 2. The other thing they have in common is mssql server installed locally.
Any ideas what might cause this and how to fix it?
