I am in the process of needing to learn SQL Server. This is my question. Will it be easier to learn SQL by starting out using Access Projects? I work in an enviroment of 2000 users and everything I do is intranet related. I have been using access but have been told I need to start developing in SQL - company standard -
If I develop an Access Project and use SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine and then need to put it on our regular production SQL Server is that possible? I am assuming it is I was just wondering what type of pitfalls I might run into.

Thanks for any advise
