Hi All,
My 9 year old son has recently shown an interest in movie making. I have allowed him use of the family digital camcorder, and he has taken a lot of video of him, his brother, and his mates, basically falling over a lot. It seems to amuse him, so who am I to complain! With my help, we have connected the camcorder to the PC and downloaded the flim into MS Movie Maker. He's used this to cut and edit the clips into a film and add music, titles, etc. and to be honest, I'm pretty impressed (from a techincal point of view) with what he has done. He has then burnt the WMV file to a DVD.
So far, so good, but the actual burning stage takes, literally, hours. Being 9 years old, he comes back to Movie maker, with more clips of people falling over and wants to add it to the movie. We are using DVD RW's so he can re-write the whole thing again, but it once again takes hours.
My question (sorry for the long winded description) is,.... is there a quicker to burn the DVD. At the moment we are using Windows Movie Maker to create a WMV and then buring that to a disk using Nero 6 (with the appropriate DVD writer add-on).
Any help/advice would be much appreciated. I am quite happy to purchase further software if necessary.
Regards,
Marc
