Hi

The company i work for is considering migrating our 250 sites from ISDN to ADSL connections to the central servers. TO give you an idea. THe 250 sites use Cisco 801 ISDN routers to connect to a pair of 3661's with ISDN interface modules.

The plan would be to use a VPN to connect the sites, but what routers would we use at the centre to replace the 3661's??

Well, 250 sites in VPN will require a heavy PIX device at your Central office to handle all that encryption. An accelarator board would probably be recommended aswell. The thing is, Cisco resellers will bend over backwards to give you that information and it will very probably be better suited to your needs since they will analyze your needs better than we can here on the chat line.

I recommend you find yourself a good reseller in your area and ask then to do a network analysis and recommend the right devices for your needs.

This sounds like a super fun project, enjoy it.
