Legato 7.3 on windows 2003 SP1 using adv file type devices.

Do you know what the "D:\_AF_ReadOnly" Disk device, 'System Created Mirror of D:\' is for?

It seems that 1/2 my disk space I am using for disk backup is allocated to this 'mirror'.

Can I delete this volume to make the disk space available for backup? Do I need it? What is the impact of deleting it?

Any info you have would be helpful.

Thanks!

Actually, the readonly device points to the readonly drive which will automatically be created if you label and Advanced File Type Device. This is a programmer's "hack" - it has to be there but it does not contain any data. Have a look at the directory.

´Consequently, you can not free more space here.
