This is a UK based question with regards to ADSL and BTOpenworld
I went with BTOW on the Home 500 package. I currently use the BT supplied USB modem for this service. However, I have recently got an ADSL modem/router and a network switch. Is there any way I can use this router modem to connect using ethernet instead of DUN? I have connected it all up to my computer, all the lights seem to work and blip away in some cases. I have found the browser based router config and pld with it a bit, but tbh I dont have the first idea how to get it working. The manual is 2 pages and only tells you how to get to the config screen (big help)
I'm pretty sure this is entirely possible to do, but some hints and tips would certainly be appreciated.
P.S I'm pretty sure the LAN side of things works fine as I can ping etc...
Thx for any help
