I could use some handson experience on real CISCO material. But I want to use it in my own home network.
My Question is therefore:
What Cisco ADSL/Router/Switch/Firewall best fits if I want to use that box at home and also want to use that Cisco... as a device to learn for the CCNA certificate.

You would do OK with a 1750 w/ wic-1enet and wic-1t and a 1720 with wic-1t and a 2950 switch. wic-1enet used to connect to dsl modem and use fast ethernet to connect to switch. Reason for second router to practice interconnecting them both via ethernet and serial connections and routing between them.

Could be wrong but isn't the 1750 end of life?

Yes is end of life but still very useable for CCNA studies. If you want current equipment it will cost you quite a bit of money. 1720 is also end of life. What is your budget?

Don't have much budget. I have to pay for it myself.

My major concern is that the IOS used in the 'domestic' adsl routers are not usefull in combination with a CCNA study.

When I did CCNA it was mostly related to inter-networking devices together physically and being able route between them. For my home lab I had a couple of 1601 routers, a 1750 router and a 2924 switch. Todays material has a lot more on the switching topic and you really should have at least a 2950 series switch to work with and the 1700 series with its fast ethernet can be configured for trunking to that switch. You should have at least one router with fast ethernet to work with trunking. 1700 series probably the cheapest models with fast ethernet and a good selection for feature sets. Although for CCNA don't really need much more that base feature set. 1601 router is cheap and good to practice on when setting up back to back dce/dte serial connected routers.

at home i have two 2514's a 4500M, and a 2912.
all much older then the 1700 series

as long as you have a recent ios on them youll be fine for learning.

my ccna test had some ospf, some switching, and some nat questions on it... nothing that you couldn't acchieve with the routers Joamon mentioned...

i also used a site.. it was pretty good for practice questions.
