Adprep from 64bit Server does not run on Win2K

Perhaps I am doing something stupid but adprep.exe on 64bit OS cannot be found in i386 directory as specified by whole world, instead I find it in AMD64 on Windows3K server installation disk (or windows\amd64 directory).

Surprisingly or Not, this file does not run on win2k server, I get ADPREP.EXE is not a valid Win32 application.

What now? ...stupid microsoft!
