Hiya!

I've had a problem while I ran adprep /forestprep to install Ex2k3 into 2k3 domain server's farm.

Due to major hardware problem I removed one DC (dcpromo /forceremoval switch) from ADS one month ago.

Now I would like to install Exchange2k3 server therefore I should run /forestprep and /domainprep

I am using Administrator account (which is Schema Admin)

When I ran: adprep /forestprep

Result was:
Error code: 0x20. Server extended error code: 0x208d,[following number of CN object, which was the above DC]

I deleted DNS entry, as well ADSIedit objs (FRS); however this object still retain within AD.

I know the number of this CN object and I am wondering:
is there a kind of "search" util to discover this object and delete it?

Any idea?
Please HELP!

Thank you.
Rob

Check the FSMO roles.
You may have to seize them, especially the schema master.

MCSE CCNA CCDA

One star for you.
