For those considering purchasing the so called education version of any Adobe product let the buyer beware. I just bought the Education version of Pagemaker 6.5 for $288 I could have bought the regular version from the Adobe Store for $299. (MS Pub upgrade).
I saved a whopping $11.
What Adobe does not reveal on their deceptive offer is that the Education version is stripped down and does not include any clipart or all the templates.

When you call Adobe customer service they are aware of the rip-off but Adobe company policy is "we cheated you fair and square and you will just have to lump it". I can be grateful for one thing about the education edition: it taught me an important lesson about Adobe.

There was much advertising about Pagemaker 6.5 plus.
Especially the HTML conversion should be perfect.

We bought it.
PM6.5+ is not even able to convert a monochrome rectangle into HTML !
This can be done in HTML simply by tables, working with even
the oldes Win95 Internet Explorer !

What I really miss is the drawing of smooth curved lines .
