Now I am trying to print out of indesign and I get the message Adobe print engine failed. I have already deleted the only preference files. any other suggestions?

adobe print engine failed

I got that message yesturday and this morning and it had to do something about some placed pdf files that it didn't like. So I had to open the pdf's in Acrobat and deleted some of the invisible objects that had been saved in there and all was good.
