I have installed Acrobat 6.0 on my MetaFrame 8.1 for Windows 2000 server. Most users have no problems, but one person tells me that it worked for hime the first time, and has been having problems ever since.

Here is what I have tried:
I gave him admin rights because the first error message said he didn't have permissions. After that, the error message said: "Unable to locat the Adobe PDF settings file or other resources: C:\Documents & Settings\All Users\Documents\Adobe PDF....
Do you want to run the installer in repair mode?

I tried running the installer repair mode from the console (after averybody was logged out) and it rendered the program useless for all users. I did a complete uninstall & reinstall, and now we are back to square 1.

No other users have admin rights, so that is not the problem. All of the user profiles are in the same place. I know that a more intelligent installer would have put the files into the default user folder, but Acrobat put it into All Users. That seems like it could be a problem.

Also, I am wondering if the local machine needs to have the distiller printer drive installed? When I logged on as that user from my computer (which does have the distiller driver) I get the same error...

Any ideas? anyone? ::)

I thought about that, but then I took another look at the error message and copied the file it was looking for into the All Users folder. And Voila!

Thanks!
