Having trouble with acrobat creating bookmarks from the original document table of contents.

I have tried several different docs and none of the table of contents get "bookmarked" automatically.

What am I doing wrong?

Make sure that you do not have Distiller set up as a printer when you distill from within Word. There is a check box that says "Print via Distiller's printer." That should not be checked.
