ADO call to SP with FOR XML

Hi gang

Having serious mind meltdown ...

I am calling an SP that has aFOR XML Clause in it

How can I say

strVar = adoCommand.execute

to get the XML string back as a result set..

total meltdown here

Dim adoCmd As ADODB.Command
Dim adoStream As ADODB.Stream

adoCmd.CommandText = sSQL
adoStream.Open
adoCmd.Properties("Output Stream").Value = adoStream
adoCmd.Execute , , adExecuteStream
sReturnXML = adoStream.ReadText
