ADMT doesn't handle local profiles

Migrating from NT domain to AD 2003 domain. ADMT didn't convert local profiles on computers so I have to manually move the contents from the old profile to the new one after the user logs on to the new domain for the first time. Anyone experience anything like this? All clients are NT, 2K or XP, nothing special.
