Yes (disable it in user manager from another administrative account) - but why? (you can get into problems if this account is disabled). You can also rename it (often done for security reasons - much harder hacking the account if hacker doesn't know what its called).
I have been getting hacked alot. I have renamed but still not feeling secure about it. I tried to disable it in user manger but it tells me it can't be disabled.
If you've been getting hacked a lot it sounds like someone is running a password sniffer from inside your network. Or you're infected by a trojan. Have you done virus and spyware scans lately?
Also, the strongest passwords you can have are either 7 or 14 characters long. Be sure to include alpha, numerical, and sundry characters.
NEVER NEVER NEVER disable the Administrator account. Like the above have mentioned, change the name of the account and add a very unique and long password as cmeagan has recommended.
Here is a good one...rename the administrator account and then create a seperate account called administrator, won't stop the determined hacker but will annoy the hell out of them when they realise they have hacked the password on a useless account
