Good day all,

Quick question. Is there any way to easily see all of the administrative shares running on my desktop 2kpro machines without mapping a drive to the individual machines. We are not running active directory yet and I need to look at some things on the workstations.

Thanks,

Rook

Do you mean connect to administrative shares (eg, C$ for C: drive)? You can do this by typing \\machinename\C$ in a run box (assuming you have administrative access to the machine concerned) on any machine.

Move!

In Win2k environment:
At your machine with admin rights, right click on My COmputer, and pick Manage.... Then right click Computer Management (Local), select Connect to another computer...

Pick the other computer, then expand System Tools to reveal Shared Folders.

your welcome!!
