We have recently upgraded to windows 2000 servers and one omission i have found that was exceptionally usefull is the ability to reset the passwords and administer several things via the intranet we used to type into the brouse and was able to c the user accounts and other info does anyone no if it is available on windows 2000 and if so how do we access it.

Thanks

This can still be done, but I think they have moved the focus from intranet to using the MMC.

If you are using a domain & AD, simply opening Active directory users & computers will allow you to do this for the whole domain (assuming you have sufficient privileges).

If you are using a workgroup, I generally open the local computer management MMC console (right click on my computer & goto manage). I then right click on the Computer Management object, & select connect to another computer. You can then connect to a remote computer & modify it in exactly the same way (again subject to permissions).
