Admin rights in trusted domain

Windows 2000: I have two trusted domains, domain A and domain B. I would like to give administrators in domain A the right to logon to the domain controllers in domain B using the administrator username and password for Domain A. When i try to logon now I get the message: "Local policy does not allow this uder to logon interactively". How can I get this to work?

I have tried to add the administrators from domain A to the administrators group of domain B but it does not allow me to perform this.

Go to Domain B, open Admin Tools>Local Security Policy. Expand Local Policy, click on User Rights Assignment.

In the right pane, find and double click "Allow logon locally", add your admin from Domain A.

Now, refresh your policy via command line: c:\secedit /refreshpolicy machine_policy /enforce
