How do I change the NT password for the account that I used to create the SMS primary site without locking everything up and rebuilding the server.

On the SMS-Server start "SMS Setup" and then choose to "Modify/Reset a current installation".
I think this should work......

reseting the site is not an issue - this is not one of the built in accounts that SMS creates - this is a domain admin account that we set up specifically to work on SMS
