Hello everyone.

I am about to change the password of the administrator account on a Windows 2003 Server.

Will this cause any side effects on Exchange 2003 server that is operating on the same active directory environment?

From experience on Exchange 5.5 I had to apply the new password for all the Exchange 5.5 services in order to make them start. Is the same situation on Exchange 2003?

Thank you in advance.

Exchange 2003 uses Local System accounts to operate not a specific service account so that shouldn't cause a problem.

That was indeed just an 5.5 (and before) issue
