I want to install the w2k admin tools onto a2003 server in order to admin my w2k domain. The 2003 server is in the domain, but just a member server.
The 2003 server would be a total admin station in that I would make changes to GPO's, user accounts, etc from it.
The purpose is so I can start learning 2003 server for the doamin upgrade I will be doing in a few months.

See any problems with this setup? Thanks.

Yes. The 2000 admin tools won't install on a 2003 server. Use the 2003 adminpak instead. Many of the tools are better than the 2000 versions anyway.

Thanks!
I then take it that using the 2003 tools won't mess anything up in my 2000 domain.

Nope! In fact, it is usually recommended to set up an XP workstation with the 2003 tools to admin both 2000 and 2003 machines.
