ADL pause on a i2002 IP set

Hi folks, wondering if anyone has insight if there is a way to insert a pause in a ADL key, for using passcodes and such. The setup is:

i2002 / i2004 sets
Succession 4.0
OTM 2.20.78

Pause works just fine in the Personal Diectory of the phone (Pause in inserted using a softkey that inserts a -), so there just MUST be a way doing this using using ADL!

you can't add a pause to the adl unless you allow the users to enter acod instead of 9
