Adjusting text objects without distorting them

Does anyone know how to move multiple text objects with out distorting their width or height. Everytime I select all and try to move the objects, their sizes change. It's rather bothersome to readjust.

Try removing those pesky little arrows from the ruler area of the screen by clicking & dragging them off of (& away from) the screen area. They are only helpful whenever you build a report from scratch; afterward they are best removed from the report! You should now be able to move groups of objects without difficulty. (Either control-click the objects, or use the "lasso" technique.) Then, go into your file > report options and uncheck the display grid lines in design mode option. That way they won't be on any new reports that you create.

I just thought of something else. Go to: File > Options > the Layout Tab > the section called "Grid Options." Uncheck the "Snap to grid" checkbox. This will also make your formatting work easier.
