Adding totals of yes/no fields

How can you get a value from data that uses a yes/no data type where there are total numbers of yes and no?

You can take the Yes/No field and put it in a group by query setting the group by option to be count and then setting the criteria for which option you want the count on.

The other option would be to use the Dcount function.

Create an unbound field on your form or report with a calculation in its control source.

In the control source enter:

=iif([NameofYesNoField]="Yes",1,0)
