adding server? don't want to reinstall norton???

Theres a quick way to change servers or to connect your "unmanaged" workstations to a symantec AV server...


Surf thru network neighborhood to your server, and look for the vplogon directory.

In there you should find a file called grc.dat. copy it to your workstations C:\Program Files\Symantec_Client_Security\Symantec AntiVirus directory and reboot your workstation.

There's an even quicker way to switch to a new 8.x server if your old server is still online, as well as the instructions for using the grc.dat "trick":
