I was wondering how can I add an NT4 Server into a Win2k Domain? The Win2k is already set in Mix Mode.

just create a computer and user account for it and then go to network id and add it to the domain

Don't I have to promote it some how to get the AD info though?

well if you want it to be a DC then you have to upgrade it to W2K. Otherwise, if you just want it to be a member server I believe that you can add it to the domain like you would add any other computer

I installed a NT4 stand-alone server to a Win2K domain a few days ago. Authentication works OK. But, I'm running a database server on the NT box and the client (mixed Win OS's) connections have slowed significantly. No DNS, WINS, DHCP services running on the NT box. Any ideas?

Have you installed the AD client for NT? Not sure if it will help, but it can't hurt. Should be on the 2000 CD under the CLIENTS folder.
