Hi Excelers !

I'm new to pivot tables. This is Excel 97

I used the pivot table wizard to add a new field/row to my
worksheet. The field I chose is named WH Deployment...
but the name that appears in the sheet is 'Count of WH Deployment'. Of course I can edit this and remove the Count of.. no problem.

But every value for Count of WH Deployment on the worksheet is 1. Most of the data records contain 0.

The "Count of" in the name leads me to think Excel is counting the number of values instead of simply printing the actual data value. For any certain Part #, there will always be 1 field that contains a WH Deployment qty. I want the qty value to print.

I hope this question makes sense. No doubt I've missed an easy step somewhere.

Several of you have helped me in the past... I appreciate it.

Thanks, John

Thanks xlbo,

"Right click on WH DEployment"

Had to use double-click; other than that, your tips were perfect. Now the worksheet looks great.
