I've found that when adding a new field into my database (somewhere in the middle), and then returning to my Crystal Report to refresh the report, this will then throw off each of the fields by 1, thus making my report unusable. Do I need to remove all of the tables from the DB, then re-add them? Removing the fields and re-adding doesn't work. Help!!!??

No. Use the Verify Database option, in Database menu. This refresh the database information and tables.
