The very question of the day. It appears that one must stop all shared application, ie: SQL. Stop one server. On the active server use Disk manager to create the new disk. Stop that server. Start the other server and add the disk in exactly the same manner. Of course this assumes that one has created the logical drive on the shared SCSI bus. Re-start the second server. Now the trickey part, create the new shared disk resource.
I have not tried this yet but it is documented this way in the Compaq DL380 (G3) cluster server documentation.
I am hoping to find a method with less overall downtime.
