I currently have my LAN setup as 192.168.1.0/24. We are quickly adding servers, printers, and workstations, and are just about upto the 254 host limit. Ideally, I want to add 3 more lans, say 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0. for a total of 1016 hosts. What would the easiest way to do this be? Change the subnet? Will the PIX even route this?

I'm using a pix 506e.

I don't believe the PIX506e has any routing capabilities. In other words, 506e cannot be used to do your routing. Having one network that consists of 254 hosts, is troublesome. In terms of traffic .. broadcasts etc. Having networks 192.168.1.0, 192.168.2.0, 192.168.3.0, 192.168.4.0 is fine. But you should subnet them further using VLSM perhaps according to number of hosts in each department. You'll have to purchase a router that supports VLSM.
