We are switching from a class c subnet to a class b subnet on about 500 computers and devices. We are wanting to assign IP addresses with DHCP by MAC address. The problem is we are giving each department it's own 3rd octet which will require alot of programming (because there are thousands of possible ip's to assign). Is there an easy way to add these in the active directory database with a text editor or import something so we dont have to type these all out by hand? Any utilities? Thanks
