Adding IDE to a SCSI system

Hi

I have a custom built server that is running SCSI with Raid 1 I have now plugged in a CDRW Drive and a 160Gb HD.

The problem is that the CDRW shows up in the OS but the HD doesn't

I'm running Win2k SBS

The SCSI is a Adaptec ACI-7892

the HD shows up in the bios

is this even possiable as some of the messages I have seen on here hint that this won't work
