ADDING DREAMWEAVER SITE TO A CURRENT SITE???????

I have a currently working site and just created a site on dreamweaver that i want to link to this site. My colleague has tried uploading the dreamweaver site to the currently existing site and it replaced the currnt site. How to i go about linking this new site to the old one?

you need to create a folder on the web server, and upload the new site to the folder, and then link from the old site to the newsite within the folder.
so

http://www.domain.com/folder/index.html

for the new site if the old site is

http://www.domain.com/index.html

Sometimes, when my code just won't behave, I take it outside and make it listen to britney spears music, and when it comes back it's really well behaved. I wonder if it's suffering from post tramatic stress syndrome now..
