I am setting up a web site that uses an SQL database to store data. I am also creating an Access 2002 front end for the database to facilitate other people in my organisation to enter data on the database.
One of the things I want to include on the site are photographs connected to the data. I know it is possible to store jpegs in SQL Server, but have not been able to find a way to have Access insert them into the database in a way which allows them to be displayed on a web site.
Does anyone have any experience of this? Am I going to have to give up and use a system where a path to a picture is stored on the database? This is problematic because I want to make it as easy as possible for people here to add pictures to the web site.
Any help much appreciated. --
